The above pictures are from my amazing weekend trip to Copacabana and Lake Titicaca. It was freeeeezing but the town and the lake are absolutely beautiful. Two other volunteers and me traveled all thursday night to La Paz and then we took another bus for four hours to Copacabana. The long night was worth the breathtaking view of the lake. We spent all of Saturday on la Isla del Sol. I don't think words can describe how lucky I am to have experienced this weekend. I have come to realize that Bolivia is one of the more underrated countries in South America but it has some of the most amazing landscapes and surprisingly stunning areas that never cease to amaze me. Oh and quick story, after we boarded the boat to la Isla del Sol, a line of people were still waiting on the dock, and crackkkk all of a sudden the whole thing broke and everyone fell in. Ooops haha it was terrible but luckily no one got hurt. Best travels so far! In a week and a half I am going to the Salt Flats. I've heard this is the most amazing corner of Bolivia. Cant wait! Also I'll be seeing all of you sooo soon!! Only nine days left at work!

Torotoro: Home to Little Foot and the rest of the Land Before Time Crew

The above pictures are from our FSD midterm trip to Torotoro. Some of the pictures show dinosaur footprints, hence the title... Overall this place was amazing. Besides the minor safety risks, such as climbing up the side of a canyon with a semi broken rope or scaling the side of a wet cave wall, all was adventurous and breathtaking. I can't decide if swimming in an underground lake deep in the caves we hiked into, or swimming in a waterfall in the depths of a canyon was better. Hmm overall a great weekend trip! I know I will miss Bolivia.
